Installation depends on the accessory. Some products use existing mounting points, while others require drilling, cutting, sealing or electrical connections. Check the fitting instructions and supplied hardware before starting.

Side pods, electrical accessories and structural mounting work may require specialist skills. Use a professional installer where needed and follow the product’s installation requirements.

A roof rack, solar panels and an awning can be combined when their dimensions and mounting systems are compatible. Plan the roof layout around existing vents, skylights and other equipment, leaving the clearance required by each manufacturer.

Check the vehicle’s roof-load limit and the rack’s load rating. Include the rack, brackets and everything carried on it in the total weight, and follow the lowest applicable limit.

Campervan side pods extend the usable interior width in a specific area of the van. They are often used to create additional space for a bed positioned across the vehicle.

The space gained and installation position depend on the vehicle and pod design. Check the dimensions against your finished bed layout, including insulation and interior lining. Installation involves modifying the bodywork and sealing the pods correctly.

Check compatibility with your rear doors, hinges and any existing accessories. Confirm the carrier’s permitted load, wheel and tyre compatibility, and the clearance needed to open the doors.

Allow for the weight of the accessory and its load within your vehicle’s payload and axle limits. The installation must also preserve visibility of the lights and number plate.

Follow the care instructions supplied with each product. Remove mud, road salt and coastal deposits regularly using suitable cleaning products, and inspect mounting points and fixings as part of your routine vehicle maintenance.

Check coated surfaces for stone chips or accidental damage and follow the manufacturer’s repair guidance. Normal wear, stone chips and accidental damage are excluded from our 5-year finish warranty.
