Ditch Light Brackets

Ditch light brackets provide mounting points for auxiliary lights beside the bonnet. Our brackets mount at the bonnet hinges of compatible VW Crafter and MAN TGE vans.

They are designed specifically for the VW Crafter and MAN TGE, rather than being universal brackets for every van.

Send us your registration and a photo of the bonnet hinge area for fit confirmation before ordering, particularly if your van was registered in 2017.

They are made from 3mm stainless steel, precision laser-cut and CNC folded. They are designed and manufactured in the UK.

On most compatible vehicles, no drilling is required. The brackets use existing mounting points at the bonnet hinge locations.

They are supplied as a pair: one left-hand bracket and one right-hand bracket. Lights, wiring harnesses and mounting hardware are sold separately.

They are intended for auxiliary LED ditch lights, spotlights, scene lights, work lights and floodlights.

To confirm a particular light fits, send us its model, mounting-bolt size and dimensions. Allow clearance for the bonnet to open and for the light to be aimed.

You need compatible lights, the appropriate mounting hardware and wiring suitable for those lights. Choose the electrical supply, fuse protection and switching arrangement to match the light manufacturer’s instructions.

Plan the cable route so it cannot be trapped by the bonnet or rub against moving components.

Treat bracket installation and electrical wiring as two separate jobs. Follow the fitting instructions when working at the bonnet hinges, then confirm bonnet alignment and opening clearance.

Use a competent installer if you are unfamiliar with vehicle electrical work or bonnet-hinge fixings. Check the lights remain secure after installation.

Aim the lights at the area you want to illuminate, avoiding reflections from the bonnet and glare towards the driver. Test the position while parked before tightening the light’s adjustment fixings.

Follow the light manufacturer’s intended-use guidance. Fitting a bracket does not establish that the attached light is approved for road use.
