Campervan Kitchen Pod + Bed for VW Multivan

Turn your long-wheelbase VW Multivan into a weekend camper with our Play Dirty Kitchen Pod. Without drilling the floor, removing the second-row seats or committing to a permanent conversion.

The pod gives you a pull-out rear kitchen, storage and an extending bed platform in one removable unit. Secure it to the Multivan’s existing tie down cargo points, load your kit and go. Everything in this pod is removable. If you want to go down to the beach, you can take the fridge with you for the day. 

Every package includes the complete pod, bed boards, cushions and retaining straps. You simply choose how much of the kitchen and electrical equipment you want us to supply with it.

Base Pod

The complete kitchen pod and bed system without water or electrical equipment.

Choose this package if you already own your preferred camping appliances or want to build the setup gradually.

Water Package

The complete pod with a self-contained water setup. No permanent water tank, plumbing or electrical installation is required.

Includes everything in the Base Pod, plus:

• Dometic Recon 360 rechargeable tap
• Dometic GO 11-litre water jug
• Hose and tap accessories

The tap stores inside the drawer while you are travelling, where a magnet prevents it from moving around. At camp, it attaches to the magnetic mounting point built into the worktop.

Powered Pod

The complete pod with a portable power station, ready for charging phones, laptops and camping equipment or powering compatible appliances you already own.

Includes everything in the Base Pod, plus:

• EcoFlow DELTA 3 portable power station
• 1024Wh LFP battery capacity
• 1800W continuous 230V output
• Mains charging cable

This package does not include the tap, water jug, oven or fridge freezer.

Complete Powered Kitchen Pod

The complete system: bed, kitchen, water, fridge and portable power in one package.

Choose this package if you want the entire system supplied together without sourcing the appliances separately.

Breakfast Pulls Out of the Boot

Open the tailgate and the kitchen pulls towards you on drawer slides.

The washing-up drawer extends separately, placing the bowl and rechargeable tap at a practical working height. Above it, the cooking shelf pulls out with the optional Dometic 3-in-1 oven.

There is no fixed gas system, permanent water tank or plumbing installation. When breakfast is finished, everything slides back beneath the bed.

Fold Two Seats. Pull One Frame. Make the Bed.

You do not need to remove the Multivan’s second-row seats.

Fold the second-row seats flat, pull the rear bed frame forward on its drawer slides and unfold the bed boards over the seats. Position the supplied cushions on top to complete the sleeping area.

The bed frame, boards and cushions are included with every package. Duvets, pillows and other bedding are not included.

The Fridge Sits Beneath the Bed

The EcoFlow GLACIER fridge freezer supplied with the Complete Kitchen packages has its own position inside the pod.

It sits flush beneath the sleeping platform rather than taking up space on top of the bed or amongst your luggage. The fridge remains accessible from the rear of the Multivan.

No Holes Drilled in Your Multivan

The pod attaches to the cargo tie-down points already fitted to the Multivan floor.

The supplied retaining straps secure the unit in position, so no permanent brackets need to be drilled into the vehicle. Allow approximately 30 minutes to install or remove the pod once the third-row seats have been taken out.

When the pod is removed, the Multivan can be returned to its normal passenger layout.

Approximately 80kg Before Appliances

The current estimated weight of the base pod, including its bed boards and cushions, is approximately 80kg.

This figure does not include the fridge, oven, water, water jug or EcoFlow DELTA 3. A confirmed production weight should be used when available.

Passengers, luggage, water, bicycles and camping equipment all count towards the Multivan’s permitted payload. The driver is responsible for ensuring the vehicle remains within its plated weight limits.

How Long Will the EcoFlow Power the Oven?

The Dometic 3-in-1 oven has a rated power demand of 1500W. The EcoFlow DELTA 3 provides 1800W of continuous 230V output, allowing it to run the oven without relying on EcoFlow’s X-Boost mode.

A fully charged 1024Wh DELTA 3 will provide approximately 30–35 minutes of operation if the oven draws its maximum power continuously. Actual running time will vary according to the cooking mode, temperature, other connected appliances and battery condition.

For longer stays, the power station can be recharged from mains hook-up or a compatible charging system.

Before You Drive Away

The pod must be correctly positioned and secured to the original cargo tie-down points using the supplied retaining straps before driving.

Only the equipment listed beneath your chosen package is included. Bedding, cookware, crockery, food and other lifestyle accessories shown in the photographs are not supplied.
