Building overhead storage into a campervan normally means designing it, cutting every component, assembling the structure and then working out how to mount it securely.

This gantry removes that work.

Designed and manufactured by Play Dirty, it gives professional campervan builders and DIY converters a ready-made overhead storage solution that can be installed as part of the conversion without having to fabricate the entire unit from scratch.

Unlike traditional overhead lockers made from plywood or heavy furniture board, the gantry is manufactured primarily from aluminium. This keeps the structure strong while significantly reducing unnecessary weight high up in the vehicle.

The result is a clean, purpose-built storage system that saves workshop time, reduces fabrication work and helps keep the overall conversion weight under control.
